Vintage thrift accounts on Instagram have really stood out to me lately. It’s probably because we are furnishing a new home. Plus, the algorithm is feeding me my daily hit of rattan, plants and boho goodness.

I know vintage has always been a thing, but it seems like it’s really taken off lately. Perhaps thrifting from my couch is more my vibe. Either way, I’m really loving the thrift-from-home movement. Absolutely here for it.
Instagram-based storefronts seem to be all the rage right now. It’s fun to stumble on all the unique goodies these local vintage accounts have to offer. Plus, you can feel the curators’ personalities through the feeds!
Since I haven’t had much actual human interaction, this is the best I’ve got right now. It’s an amazing way to tap into the community and furnish your home with unique pieces. Some accounts even take personal shopping requests and deliver locally.
There are many reasons to support vintage thrift accounts because:
- supporting others in our community is impactful
- more dollars stay in our local economy
- shopping secondhand is sustainable
- you get rad and unique furnishings in the process
